MILLS: MCCARTNEY HAS ‘EXCEPTIONAL TASTE IN WOMEN’
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s ex-wife HEATHER MILLS has praised the former Beatle’s new relationship with American heiress NANCY SHEVELL - insisting the star has "exceptional taste in women".
Mills and McCartney’s 2006 separation was finalised in May (08) after their six-year marriage ended in a messy public divorce.
The 40-year-old claimed she became a hate figure in Britain and was seen as a gold digger for marrying McCartney just four years after the death of his long-term wife Linda.
During their divorce battle, court papers leaked in which Mills falsely claimed McCartney was an abusive husband, a drunk, and a wife-beater.
But Mills insists she isn’t bitter about their break-up, and isn’t bothered by seeing her ex move on with Shevell in the media.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I have no thoughts. He has exceptional taste in women. That’s it." McCartney has been dating Shevell since last year (07).
