RIO TOPS BEST VIDEO POLL
DURAN DURAN’s music video for their 1980’s single RIO has been voted the best pop video of all time.
The famous music promo, featuring the band members frolicking with models on a yacht, beat Bjork’s All Is Full Of Love into second place in the MTV poll.
A-Ha’s Take On Me came third, Michael Jackson’s ground-breaking Thriller was fourth, and Svefn-g-Englar by Icelandic rockers Sigur Ros came fifth.
The top ten was rounded out by Nirvana’s acclaimed Smells Like Teen Spirit, Just by Radiohead, Jamiroquai’s Virtual Insanity, Madonna’s Like A Prayer, and Here It Goes Again by OK Go.
