Actress SARAH JESSICA PARKER has sent devoted SEX AND THE CITY fans into a frenzy of anticipation after she admitted a sequel to the movie has not been ruled out.
Fans of the show have been clamouring to see the fashionable foursome make a return to the big screen - after the first feature film stormed international box offices, grossing more than $391 million (£211.4million) since its May (08) release.
And the actress, who played Carrie Bradshaw in the hit TV series, admits a sequel to the movie is on the cards - if producers can come up with a red-hot story.
Parker tells Usmagazine.com she and writer Michael Patrick King will "have that conversation (about a sequel) sooner rather than later".
She adds: "It’s all about the story. If we can’t tell a story that’s really worthy of an audience, then we won’t do it.
"We’ve been really lucky at this point. We’ve been in people’s good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story."

ANDREW MORTON, the author of TOM CRUISE’s controversial biography, joined the movie star and other theatre fans for KATIE HOLMES’ Broadway debut in ALL MY SONS on Thursday night (18Sep08).
Morton, whose book Tom Cruise: An Unauthorised Biography was savaged by the actor and his aides, sat several rows behind the Mission: Impossible star.
And he was impressed by Holmes’ performance in the Arthur Miller play.
He tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "She handled the stage and moved very well. She was a little stiff at times, but she was up against some big Broadway stars." But Morton, who also penned a controversial Princess Diana biography, was most taken by the reaction to Holmes as she left the theatre with her husband after her big stage debut.
He adds, "This reminds me of the Diana days or even the Beckhams." Meanwhile, Cruise wasn’t the only big movie star in the house for Holmes’ Broadway debut, opposite John Lithgow, Patrick Wilson and Diane Wiest - the actor’s Rain Man co-star Dustin Hoffman was also in the audience at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.

Anti-Scientology demonstrators who targeted KATIE HOLMES ahead of her debut Broadway performance of ALL MY SONS also tried to convince singer BECK to denounce the religion.
Campaigners gathered outside New York’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on Thursday night (18Sep08), chanting "Scientology kills!" as Holmes’ husband and Scientology follower Tom Cruise arrived to watch the performance.
And the angry mob also blasted American musician Beck in their chants, waving banners and sending anti-Scientology messages to the star and other celebrity followers.
In the protest, one campaigner held a placard bearing the slogan, "Run, Katie, run! And take Beck with you", according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
Beck has been a follower of the faith for most of his life, and is married to second-generation Scientologist, actress Marissa Ribisi.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ comeback track WOMANIZER has leaked on to the Internet.
The eagerly anticipated song was set to hit the airwaves in the U.S. next week (beg22Sep08), but has been partly uploaded online and can be heard through Nashville radio station 107.5 The River’s website.
According to Usweekly.com, the tune features sexy lyrics, with Spears’ singing, "Boy don’t try to front/I know just what gets you off".
The song is taken from Spears’ forthcoming LP Circus, which she has hailed as her best work yet, and is slated for a December release to coincide with her 27th birthday.
The album is said to mark a return to form for the pop superstar after a year of erratic behaviour, which came to a shocking end earlier this year (08) as she entered a psychiatric ward and lost custody of her two young sons.

Comedienne KATHY GRIFFIN is set for a career boost after the success of her hit U.S show LIFE ON THE D-LIST reportedly led to a flood of TV offers.
According to the New York Post, the star will announce the next step in her career after Sunday’s (21Sep08) 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
A source tells the newspaper, "Other networks are aggressively pursuing Kathy for a multi-tiered deal, which would include hosting a late-night talk show, award shows, and continuing her reality show and comedy specials." A spokesperson for Griffin declined to comment on the report.

Actress JULIA STILES is set to make her Broadway debut with a reprisal of her role in hit play OLEANNA.
The Bourne Identity star first tackled the two-person show opposite Aaron Eckhart on London’s West End stage in 2004.
She tells the New York Post, "I’m coming to Broadway. I’m so excited… It’s where I started. I did shows off-Broadway. I did plays at La Mama. And I’m now going to do David Mamet’s Oleanna. The one project I most want to do.
"By the end of the play pretty much everyone hates me. But I only know this will be my first time on Broadway. It’s a dream of mine." Oleanna tells the story of a power struggle between a university professor and one of his female students who accuses him of sexual harassment.
A date for its debut has not been officially announced.

Model-turned-photographer LYNN KOHLMAN has lost her five-year battle with brain cancer.
The former Tommy Hilfiger and Donna Karan collaborator was 62 when she passed away on Sunday (14Sep08) at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
As a model, Kohlman was a catwalk favourite in Europe, where she was a regular for designers Yves St. Laurent and Kenzo. She also appeared in Elle and Italian Vogue, among other style glossies.
She moved from London to New York in the early 1980s and began a lengthy relationship with Perry Ellis, first as a model and then as a designer/photographer.
Her photography has appeared in the world’s top fashion magazines.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 and underwent a double mastectomy. She then developed brain cancer a year later.
One of her most famous photos is a topless self-portrait she took after her breasts were removed.
Karan paid tribute to Kohlman on a 2005 episode of Oprah. In a Vogue article the same year, Kohlman wrote, "I have finally realized that, at 59 years old, my breasts gone, my hair fried from radiation, a scar circling my scalp like stitches on a baseball, I am beautiful."

LATEST: Actor DAVID DUCHOVNY is "doing well" since admitting himself into rehab for sex addiction, according to one of his co-stars on hit U.S. TV show CALIFORNICATION.
The 48-year-old - who plays a sex-loving author in the raunchy cable show checked himself into rehab last month (Aug08) in a bid to control his own sexual urges.
Actor Evan Handler has sent his best wishes to the star, and admits he’s looking forward to getting back to work when Duchovny returns to the set.
He says, "The most I can say is that I hope he’s doing really well - and I heard he is doing really well. I can’t wait to go back on the set because the work experience is the best one that I’ve had." When asked if Duchovny would attend the series’ premiere on 28 September (08), Handler added: "I have no idea whether I’ll see him there or not."

AMERICAN IDOL winner RUBEN STUDDARD will never forget meeting his wife for the first time - because it was between the aisles of U.S. budget store Wal-Mart.
Studdard was busy promoting his debut album in the retail giant’s Atlanta, Georgia store in 2006, and was approached by an autograph hunter - who turned out to be his now wife Surata Zaui McCants.
And the singer admits it was an odd first meeting, because she was there to get his signature for her best pal.
He recalls, "I was actually not shopping at all… I was promoting my album and I had an autograph signing at Wal-Mart. And so she came to get the autograph for her best friend who was a big fan of mine.
"So she was telling me a story about her friend and she said, ‘My friend loves you.’ And I said, "Well what about you? "We just became friends right after that. We hung out and maybe three months after we started (to get serious)." The couple wed in a ceremony in his native Birmingham, Alabama in June (08).

PEARL JAM star EDDIE VEDDER has penned a new baseball anthem for his beloved Chicago Cubs in the hope it will boost the team’s fortunes in the upcoming play-offs - if they get there.
A lifelong Cubs fan, the rocker debuted new song All The Way at a recent solo show in Chicago and the team’s fans have taken the new anthem to their hearts.
Vedder has now released the track to radio stations and Cubs legend Ernie Banks has urged Illinois DJs to play the song at every opportunity - to boost the team and its fans.
The song features lyrics like "Our heroes wear pinstripes, pinstripes in blue/Give us a chance to feel like heroes too/We are one with the Cubs, with the Cubs we’re in love/We are not fair-weather but foul-weather fans." The Cubs have been among the favourites to win the World Series for much of the U.S. baseball season, but they have yet to clinch a play-off berth.

A representative for BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE has hit out at online rumours the Hollywood supercouple had split.
Internet gossips were sent into a spin earlier this week (15Sep08), speculating that the superstar pair had decided to end their relationship.
The couple has been together since Pitt’s divorce from former Friends star Jennifer Aniston was finalised in 2005. Animal-loving socialite PARIS HILTON has rubbished claims two of her pet Chihuahuas were killed in a coyote attack earlier this week (beg15Sep08) after the animals reportedly escaped from her Beverly Hills home.
The hotel heiress allegedly lost the dogs - spotted by neighbours and paparazzi roaming the streets - after she left the doors of her Beverly Hills home open, according to reports by celebrity website X17online.
The website reported that Hilton was "devastated" after the bodies of the animals were discovered the following morning.
But her spokesperson tells TV show Access Hollywood that the story is "completely false", adding: "(I) do not know how it developed." Earlier this year (08), the hotel heiress was investigated after admitting she owned 17 dogs. Under U.S. law, a non-breeder is only allowed to have three dogs per address.
Her menagerie has also included a monkey, a ferret and an exotic kinkajou.

R&B star ALICIA KEYS and rocker JACK WHITE will let fans hear a sneak preview of their BOND theme ANOTHER WAY TO DIE on the internet.
The Fallin’ hitmaker joined The White Stripes frontman to write and record the track for the upcoming James Bond movie, Quantum Of Solace.
And they plan to exclusively stream the song on White’s Third Man Records website from Friday (19Sep08).
It is due for release in the U.S. on September 30.

A former spy who was the inspiration behind IRA movie FIFTY DEAD MEN WALKING has blasted the film’s director KARI SKOGLAND for allowing the terrorist organisation’s former members to provide creative input on-set.
Martin McGartland, who infiltrated the infamous Irish Republican Army (IRA), hit out after it emerged former IRA volunteers had given the crew tips on how to boost the film’s authenticity - allegedly including advice on bomb-making and torture.
McGartland says, "(Skogland) should certainly not have been negotiating with the IRA to be able to film in certain areas of Belfast and she should never have allowed former IRA terrorists to be on set while filming." Earlier this week (begs15Sep08) the movie’s producers apologised after the film’s star Rose McGowan said she would have joined the IRA if she had grown up in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.

LATEST: ANNE HATHAWAY’s ex-boyfriend RAFFAELLO FOLLIERI’s administrative assistant reported him to the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), according to new reports.
Follieri, 30, pleaded guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and money laundering in a Manhattan Federal court last week (10Sep08).
According to recently released court documents, the unnamed aide informed agents that Follieri kept a safe stuffed with financial and business records in his $37,000 (£20,000)-a-month New York apartment.
Federal agents raided Follieri’s home and seized the safe on 15 July (08) just weeks after his split from Hathaway.
According to the New York Post, the safe’s contents have not been disclosed, but a black folder underneath it contained documents in English and Italian, emblazoned with the words "Dal Vaticano".
Follieri admitted misappropriating at least $2.4 million (£1.3million) of investors’ money, sending it to foreign personal bank accounts that were disguised as business accounts, and using the funds for his own expenses.
He is due to be sentenced on 3 October (08) and faces a minimum of five years in jail.
