Lynda Lopez, 35, and her boyfriend Adam Goldfried welcomed little Lucie Wren Lopez Goldfried at 11.45pm on 28 August.

HOUSE star HUGH LAURIE will reunite with his family when his wife and children move from their native Britain to join him in Los Angeles after spending four years apart.
Laurie’s wife, Jo, and their three teenage children have reportedly made plans to move into a new $4 million (£2.2 million) mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
The news comes just days after the star took in a $400,000 (£216,200)-per-episode pay raise - making him one of the highest paid actors on the small screen.
A source tells U.S. tabloid Star: "Hugh was determined not to disrupt the children .Then a family conference changed everything. Jo and the kids just couldn’t bear to see Hugh looking so miserable every time he leaves after visiting them in London.
"They couldn’t carry on dealing with a long-distance relationship. In the end, Jo took control and made the decision to move." The couple, who married in 1989, is parents to Rebecca, 15, Bill, 17 and Charlie, 19.

Actress ANNE HATHAWAY is convinced she’ll never be captured on camera stumbling out of a nightclub like other Hollywood stars - because she’s such a "wallflower".

And Hathaway insists she has no plans to follow in their footsteps, because she lacks the confidence to let loose and enjoy a wild night on the town.

Hollywood star MATTHEW MODINE is encouraging New Yorkers to ditch cars and cabs and take their bikes to the streets on Saturday (20Sep08).
The Weeds actor is hosting an eco-conscious event in the city called Bicycle for a Day.
Modine has organised entertainment and activities - and is hoping to inspire others to spread bike fever across the U.S.
The star - who will be among cyclists pedalling off from lower Manhattan’s South Street Seaport on Saturday - says, "The idea behind my project Bicycle for a Day is to help people understand that there is something they can do. In fact, just one simple thing they can do every day to become part of the solution. If everybody does this one thing, the cumulative effect could be tremendous.
"The environmental situation is a great opportunity for us all to work together to find solutions. Bicycle for a Day is just that - citizens of the world joining together globally and acting locally.”

Supermodel GISELE BUNDCHEN will auction off a personal collection of sparkling jewels next month (Oct08) - allegedly gifted to her by an unnamed ex-lover.
The Brazilian beauty began dating American football star Tom Brady shortly after her highly-publicised 2005 split from Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio, and was previously linked to professional surfer Kelly Slater.
Bundchen has passed off a 3.35 carat diamond ring and a six carat diamond pendant necklace to Christie’s Jewels: The New York Sale auction.
The sparklers are expected to fetch between $15,000 (£8,108) and $150,000 (£81,081).
The jewels are scheduled to hit the auction block on 15 October (08), with a portion of proceeds from the auction going to the Russell Simmons-co-founded charity Diamond Empowerment Fund, which provides educational funding to diamond-producing countries in Africa.

DANITY KANE star AUBREY O’DAY has embraced her stereotype as the pop group’s "badass" - insisting she’s confident enough to endure vulgar insults hurled at her by critics.

G-UNIT rapper 40 GLOCC is facing a ban from his Los Angeles neighbourhood, if California lawmakers succeed in serving him with an injunction.
The District Attorney is seeking to force Glocc and 18 other members of the Colton City Crips gang out of their neighbourhood.
Papers were served to the 18 gang members, but Glocc - real name Lawrence White - was out of town when officials swooped.
White has made no secret of his affiliation to the gang - and the authorities are determined his celebrity won’t render him immune from the law.
Colton cop Shawn McFarland tells Hip Hop Weekly, "There is no doubt he is still active (in the gang). He is one of those guys that believe he’s untouchable due to the fact that he does have some money."

Rap superstar JAY-Z has launched a new record label with Norwegian producers STARGATE, according to reports.
The hip-hop mogul, real name Shawn Carter, is alleged to have teamed up with the beatmaking duo, consisting of Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen, to form StarRoc.
The deal is said to have come about after Stargate, who have produced hits such as Beyonce’s Irreplaceable and Ne-Yo’s So Sick, relocated their studio to Jay-Z’s Roc The Mic studios in Manhattan, New York.
As WENN went to press, it is unknown whether the new label is linked to Jay-Z’s multi-million dollar contract with concert promoters Live Nation, who he will join once he releases his final album on Def Jam, The Blueprint 3, later this year (08).

Dancehall star SPRAGGA BENZ is in mourning after his teenage son was shot dead by police in Jamaica.
According to the police report, Carlton Grant Jr., 17, was killed during an incident on 23 August (08) after he and a friend opened fire on cops who had stopped them on their bicycles in Kingston.
Police returned the shots, prompting the pair to flee. They later found Grant Jr.’s body close to the scene of the shoot-out.
Eye witnesses have claimed the two men were unarmed and were shot as they attempted to surrender to police, reports Hip Hop Weekly.

Rap mogul JAY-Z has laughed off reports he sold his Las Vegas nightclub because it was losing money - boasting about the huge profit he made on the venture.
The star completed a sale of the venue to the Palazzo Hotel & Casino, where it was located.
It comes just weeks after reports suggested the hotspot was struggling to attract enough clubgoers.
Jay-Z refuses to reveal exactly how much money he has made on the sale, but it’s rumoured to be as high as $90 million (£48 million), and he describes the move as "a great business decision".
The Big Pimpin’ hitmaker still boasts 40/40 venues in New York City and Atlantic City, New Jersey, with plans to open new bars in Chicago, Illinois and Tokyo, Japan.

Bosses at a British vodka company have taken aim at hip-hop mogul DR. DRE for his plans to release a sparkling vodka drink, accusing the star of copying their product.
The enterprising rap legend announced plans to launch a range of high-class beverages in a joint venture with Drinks America last month (Aug08), with Aftermath Cognac and an 80-proof sparkling vodka being the first products to go on sale.
But executives at 02 have hit out at Dr. Dre for what they consider to be a "poor imitation" of their own fizzy alcohol.
Phillip Maitland, President of International English Distillers Limited, 02’s parent company, says in a statement: "I am very complimented that Dr. Dre has recognised how innovative and special our sparkling vodka is and is trying to copy it.
"My concern is that it isn’t produced by our patented method and may well turn out to be a very poor imitation." Maitland, whose company’s vodka drink hit shop shelves in the U.S. in January (08), also criticises the rap heavyweight for naming his forthcoming album Detox.
He continues, "I hope that consumers will not be swayed by the celebrity endorsement of a copycat product by Dr. Dre. There are a lot of mixed messages going on, Dre’s unreleased album is even called Detox to ad a bitterly ironic twist."

MELANIE BROWN knew her former SPICE GIRLS bandmate MELANIE CHISHOLM was pregnant before the news was announced - because she has a "sixth sense".
Chisholm, formerly known as Mel C, revealed she was expecting her first baby last month (Aug08) - but Brown insists she had a feeling her pal was with child before she even mentioned it.

ROLLING STONES star SIR MICK JAGGER has been advising European Union (E.U.) officials about the future of the digital music industry.
The legendary rocker joined bosses from record label EMI, electronics giant Apple and auction website eBay to meet with the E.U. Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes in Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday (17Sep08).
The group discussed the way download sites such as Apple’s iTunes sell music online, and talked about ways to break down the barriers of internet retailing.
Jagger will help the E.U. heads put together a report on the subject and the paper is expected to be published in October (08).

DANIEL CRAIG hated taking his clothes off for sex scenes in upcoming JAMES BOND movie QUANTUM OF SOLACE - because he was surrounded by strangers.
The British actor had to bare all for several steamy scenes in the eagerly anticipated 007 movie.
But Craig admits it was hard to feel all loved up because there was a group of unfamiliar people watching his every move.

R&B star ALICIA KEYS wants to re-team with rocker JACK WHITE to record new songs for her forthcoming album.
The Fallin’ hitmaker joined The White Stripes frontman to write and record Another Way To Die, the theme tune for the upcoming James Bond movie, Quantum Of Solace.
And she enjoyed the session so much, she has invited White back into the studio.

JENNIFER LOPEZ never felt pressured to lose baby weight and regain her pre-pregnancy figure, insisting she’s happy with the extra "10 pounds or so" she’s retained.
The superstar gave birth to twins Emme and Max in February (08) and subsequently slimmed down as she trained for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which took place last weekend (14Sep08).
But Lopez insists she doesn’t feel the need to tone up any further, even though she is still about 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms) heavier than she was before she had kids.
She tells People.com, "I don’t weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 pounds, or so. (But) I don’t have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it." And Lopez admits her husband Marc Anthony has no qualms about her curves either.
She adds, "We like to eat! I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it.
Marc loves the way I look!"

MADONNA’s former flame, Hollywood socialite CHRIS PACIELLO, has become a victim of vandalism after his famed Los Angeles restaurant was defaced with a graffiti insult.
The nightlife entrepreneur - real name Christian Ludwigsen - has been desperate to make a new start in the city since his name was tarnished after a series of criminal convictions.
Most notably Paciello was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2000 after pleading guilty to charges of murder and armed robbery in Staten Island, New York in 1993.
But his efforts to reinvent himself proved futile when vandals used graffiti to tag the word "murder" onto the front of his L.A. eatery Murano.
Paciello has played host to actors Kevin Connolly, Queen Latifah and basketball star Stephon Marbury at the venue.
He tells the New York Daily News: "Perhaps this is someone’s idea of a joke.
But vandalism is vandalism."

GEORGE CLOONEY has boosted the sales of sex toys in U.S. stores after playing a sex-obsessed character in his latest movie BURN AFTER READING.
