MCCOY’S LOVE FOR PERRY
GYM CLASS HEROES star TRAVIS McCOY has declared his love for girlfriend KATY PERRY - insisting he wants to "pull a TOM CRUISE and jump on OPRAH’s couch".
The singer has been dating the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker since December (07) and admits he is deeply in love with the 23-year-old.
And he can even imagine himself wanting to recreate the moment that Hollywood actor Cruise declared his love for his wife Katie Holmes - by jumping up and down on a sofa on the Oprah Winfrey show in 2005.
He says, "This is the first time I have been super head-over-heels about someone since the third grade and it’s almost in the sense where there’s this urge to pull a Tom Cruise and jump on Oprah’s couch." And McCoy insists that, unlike other celebrity couples, he is not afraid to talk about his relationship with the star.
He adds, "It’s something I can’t escape. The questions always come up and I’m never one to be a d**k and be like, ‘I don’t want to talk about that.’ It’s inevitable. I don’t try to hide too much. I try to stay honest."
