WINSTONE STEPS INTO DE NIRO’S SHOES?
British actor RAY WINSTONE is reportedly set to take over from ROBERT DE NIRO in crime drama EDGE OF DARKNESS.
The movie tough-guy has been touted for the role of a man who destroys evidence after a woman’s murder, according to Daily Variety.
De Niro reportedly quit the film over creative differences after just two days shooting - and Winstone is now said to be in negotiations to step into the Goodfellas star’s shoes.
Edge of Darkness sees Mel Gibson as a cop investigating the fatal shooting of his daughter. It is due for release next year (09).
