THE WIGGLES BEAT KYLIE IN AUSSIE RICH LIST
Pop princess KYLIE MINOGUE has been named the second richest Australian entertainer - beating Hollywood stars RUSSELL CROWE, HUGH JACKMAN and CATE BLANCHETT, but losing to kids TV moguls THE WIGGLES.
The tots’ sensations have claimed the top spot on Business Review Week’s annual poll for the fourth year running, earning AUS$45 million (US$36 million/GBP20 million) between June 2007 and June 2008.
Minogue earned AUS$40 million (US$32.8 million/GBP17.7 million)
. Crowe and Jackman landed in third and fourth places with AUS$36 million (US$28.9 million/GBP16.5 million) and AUS$25.0 million(US$20/GBP11 million) respectively
. Children’s group Hi-5 were fifth, ahead of Cate Blanchett and country rocker Keith Urban, who were sixth and seventh.
