LIL WAYNE JETS ACROSS COUNTRY TO MAKE COURT APPOINTMENT
Rapper LIL WAYNE wasn’t hanging around after his MTV Video Music Awards success on Sunday night (07Sep08) - he had a flight to catch and a court appointment to keep.
The Lollipop hitmaker, who won an award at the Los Angeles prize-giving and performed with Leona Lewis, Kid Rock and T-Pain, jetted off to New York shortly after the ceremony to make sure he wasn’t late for a weapons possession court hearing in New York.
Lil Wayne turned up in court on Monday (08Sep08) to face charges after police found a .40 caliber pistol on his tour bus following a New York show in July 2007.
