LOWE’S NANNY APPEALS FOR CLAIM TO BE REINSTATED

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:54 pm

LATEST: ROB LOWE’s former nanny is appealing to a judge to reinstate several allegations in her client’s sexual harassment lawsuit against the actor despite previously claiming victory in the court ruling.
The Brothers & Sisters star sued Jessica Gibson in April (08), claiming she tried to extort money out of him.
Gibson countersued, accusing the actor of groping her and exposing himself.
California Superior Court Judge Denise de Bellefeuille threw out four of Lowe’s claims against Gibson in July (08) - including his allegations that she defamed him - along with one of the nanny’s accusations in her countersuit.
At the time, Gibson’s lawyer Gloria Allred hailed the judge’s decision as a "huge victory", despite losing one aspect of the case.
But now website TMZ.com claims Allred has filed an appeal against the ruling, and wants a higher court to reinstate Gibson’s allegation.
The appeal means Allred is likely to have to wait another month before getting Lowe to give a deposition - delaying her own case until a decision on the appeal is made. The nature of that claim is not known as WENN goes to press.
Lowe is also being sued by a second nanny, Laura Boyce, but has denied any improper behaviour.
