KINGS OF LEON SWEAR OFF DRUGS
KINGS OF LEON are convinced they are producing their best music ever - because they have finally given up drugs.
The rockers, composed of brothers Nathan, Caleb and Jared Followill, and cousin Matthew Followill, cleaned up their act before heading into the studio to record their fourth album, Only By The Night.
And they insist that now they are drug-free, they have never sounded better.
Frontman Caleb says, "There was definitely a lot of tension in the past. When we first brought drugs into the band, they messed everything up. "It took a long time before we could trust each other again." Bassist Jared adds: "The sound we have now is what we’ve always wanted…
There are no drugs these days, but I’m confident that between the four of us, we could fill 1000 swimming pools with what we’ve drunk over the past five years. And that is not an exaggeration."
