VILLAGE PEOPLE SET FOR STAR HONOUR
Gay pop supergroup the VILLAGE PEOPLE are to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Y.M.C.A. hitmakers will celebrate their 30th anniversary by unveiling the star one block north of the Hollywood YMCA, between Liberace and Betty Grable’s stars, on 12 September (08).
Current Village People stars Alexander Briley, David Hodo, Ray Simpson, Felipe Rose, Jeff Olson and Eric Anzalone are expected to attend the honour ceremony in their famous costumes.
The star will be the 2,369th on the Walk of Fame.
