BRAND CALLS ON ROCK FOR TIPS
Outrageous British funnyman RUSSELL BRAND has called on CHRIS ROCK to advise him prior to his MTV Video Music Awards hosting stint this weekend (07Sep08).
Brand was a surprising choice to host the prizegiving, but he wants to impress - so he asked the one-time Oscars host for a few tips.
Brand says, "He said, ‘Go in hard - no one cares about anything except you have to have a good beginning.’ "So I might take my shirt off and have lipstick on my nipples."
