Actor PAUL REUBENS has denied reports he will make a return to TV opposite LAURENCE FISHBURNE in hit U.S. show CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.
The Pee-wee Herman star was rumoured to have been recruited by Fishburne after the actor was cast in the series to replace William Petersen earlier this month (Aug08).
A source tells the National Enquirer that Fishburne wanted Reubens "to play… a psychopathic killer after something goes horribly wrong in his life," in a bid to help the actor revive his career, adding, "The only person who can possibly reach him is Fishburne." But Reubens’ spokesperson Carrie Byalick has denied the reports, telling WENN: "That story is false."
