LOHAN BRANDS FATHER A ‘BULLY’
LATEST: LINDSAY LOHAN has launched a scathing attack on her father MICHAEL branding him a "bully" and a "public embarrassment".
Lohan has blasted her father in a post on her Myspace internet blog following a bitter war of words which began after Michael criticised the actress’ rumoured girlfriend Samantha Ronson earlier this week (beg25Aug08).
Michael Lohan accused the DJ of using his daughter in a bid to raise her profile - and his comments provoked a furious reaction from Ronson and the Mean Girls star herself.
And now the star has threatened to disown her father - insisting she is sick of waiting for him to change his ways.
She writes, "It really hurts, because I have tried. I really tried to make things work. He is yet to change - but this time, without his daughter by his side.
"He has become a public embarrassment and a bully. To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me. His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an addiction that he has FAME. If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it." And Lohan insists that recent rumours that Ronson was planning to write a book about their life together are totally unfounded. She adds, "Samantha has not and would never sell me out."
