MGMT ROCKER LAUGHS OFF DUNST ROMANCE RUMOURS
U.S. pop/rock duo MGMT’s frontman ANDREW VANWYNGARDEN has hit back at U.K.
tabloid reports he is the latest rocker beau of Hollywood actress KIRSTEN DUNST.
The musician was romantically linked to the Spiderman actress after Britain’s The Sun newspaper reported the pair had been spotted together at a European music festival earlier this summer (08).
But VanWyngarden has laughed off the reports, insisting he was in a different country than Dunst when the alleged affair happened.
A representative for the star tells Nme.com, "Not only is Kirsten Dunst NOT dating Vanwyngarden, she was in Los Angeles during the festivals the Sun claimed she was attending in Europe.
"We find it funny there could be so many things factually wrong in such a small amount of column space." Dunst split from Razorlight rocker Johnny Borrell last year (07).
