CRUISE STUNNED BY CRITICISM OF HITLER FILM

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:30 pm

TOM CRUISE cannot understand why his movie VALKYRIE has attracted so much criticism - because it’s such an "important" story.
The actor insists the movie - which tells the true story of a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler during World War II - will be a box office hit after wowing audiences at a test screening earlier this month (Aug08).
He says: "It (the criticism) just doesn’t make sense to me either. The moment I read the screenplay I knew it was an important story, and as it’s a true tale of heroic resistance to one of the great villains of history, I can’t imagine that people won’t want to see it." Valkyrie, starring Cruise alongside actors Kenneth Branagh, Terence Stamp, and comedian Eddie Izzard, is due to hit U.S. cinemas on 26 December (08).
