KILLERS STAR ‘WORRIED’ ABOUT CARBON FOOTPRINT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:30 pm

THE KILLERS star MARK STOERMER is concerned about the impact the band’s touring is having on the environment.
The bassist, who constantly travels between gigs, is worried the band is damaging the planet with all the waste left after concerts.
Stoermer says, "It is something we’re going to think about in the future.
It’s worrying to see how much waste is left over at gigs and festivals. It does make you think." The Killers toured the U.K. and U.S. extensively in 2007 and are expected to return to the U.K. later this year (08) to promote their new album Day and Age which is slated for a November (08) release.
