PANETTIERE’S MOTHER WAS ‘STRUCK THREE TIMES’
LATEST: HAYDEN PANETTIERE’s father stands accused of hitting the HEROES star’s mother LESLEY three times during a drunken fight on Monday (11Aug08) morning.
Alan Panettiere was arrested after the alleged incident in West Hollywood, California. He has been charged with felony domestic violence. As WENN goes to press he is being held on $50,000 (GBP25,000) bond.
A sheriff’s department spokesperson has also confirmed Lesley turned down the chance to place a restraining order against her husband.
Steve Whitmore confirms to OK! magazine, Lesley claims she was "struck three times", adding, "The victim did have visible injuries and we also believe alcohol was involved. That will be part of the investigation. (But) the victim also declined medical treatment.
"We don’t know if the victim is going to pursue (the charges). Anytime there is a domestic allegation, the victim is offered an emergency protection order, basically a restraining order. She declined it."
