BOBBY BROWN is planning to wed again after confirming he and manager/girlfriend ALICIA ETHEREDGE are an item.
Brown was with Etheredge when he reportedly suffered a minor heart attack last year (Oct07) - but it has taken him almost a year to confirm the romance.
Now he tells Sister 2 Sister magazine he’s mad about Etheredge.
He says, "That one (relationship) is gonna work ’cause I’m gonna make it work." Etheredge has always maintained she and Brown are longtime friends and business partners - but she hopes to be the one when Brown chooses to settle down again.
In an interview last year (07), she said, "I think that Bobby is a big romantic and really does believe in love.
"His parents are still married after all these years and I think that he will find that again."

KELLY OSBOURNE left a U.K. columnist fuming after she allegedly slapped her in the face - and warned her to "watch it" if she wrote about the incident afterwards.
Osbourne reportedly confronted Sunday Mirror journalist Zoe Griffin on Thursday (28Aug08) at London nightclub Punk over an article in which she had alleged model Luke Worrall, Osbourne’s boyfriend, had once asked friends how an earthquake is caused.
Griffin writes, "She (Kelly) shouted loudly in my ear: ‘I have an issue with you. My boyfriend knows what an earthquake is and everyone has been laughing at him and he’s upset.’ "(Then) I felt a hard slap to my right cheekbone. I put my hand to my face while my friends looked on aghast.
"Soon Kelly came rampaging back over with a female friend jabbing a finger in the air, telling me that I’d have to watch my back if I shared my story with readers of this column." Griffin adds: "Well sorry Kelly, I won’t be silenced by bullies."

RICKY GERVAIS has urged British Prime Minister GORDON BROWN to halt the commission of black bear pelts for ceremonial hats worn by royal guards.
The Office star has written an open letter on behalf of animal rights activists People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in which he appeals for Brown to get rid of the Canadian bear fur caps worn by the officers.
He proposes soldiers’ hats be made of luxurious faux-fur instead.
Gervais’ appeal reads: "The issue I am writing to you about today is not a laughing matter. I understand and appreciate the importance of uniforms, but continuing to use real fur in the 21st century is inexcusable, regardless of ‘tradition’.
"The public are relying on you to bring about a humane changing of the guards."

VICTORIA BECKHAM has laughed off reports that she is eager for a fourth child because she is far too busy looking after her three sons.
The singer has spoken about her desire for a new baby in the past, but insists now is not the right time to add to her brood with soccer ace husband David.
She says, "I can’t even think about having another baby right now. The boys take up so much of my time.
"Life is busy in Los Angeles, because Brooklyn’s got football, Romeo’s got gymnastics and Cruz has break dancing. Plus they have school commitments." And the former Spice Girls singer has defended stars such as Angelina Jolie and Madonna for adopting tots to expand their families.
She adds, "We really respect people who go through adoption, but it’s not something we have considered as we have our hands full with the three children we do have!"

UGLY BETTY star ASHLEY JENSEN has applauded the makers of the hit show for making AMERICA FERRERA’s character an "important role model for young girls".
The Scottish actress is convinced the geeky persona of lead character Betty, played by Ferrera, has changed people’s expectations.
And Jensen has praised the show for highlighting "honest and true" qualities over superficial ones.
She says, "Betty’s a hero now. People come up to me and say, ‘I love that show. I love the message it’s sending’.
"Betty is such an important role model for young girls. What she stands for is great. It’s OK to be real and honest and true.

LORD OF THE RINGS star SEAN BEAN’s new wife GEORGINA SUTCLIFFE has walked out repeatedly on the actor after a string of blazing rows, according to reports.
Bean, who wed Sutcliffe in July (08), was arrested that same month on suspicion of domestic assault after his 29-year-old spouse filed a complaint to police.
And although the assault claim was later dropped, the newlyweds are allegedly experiencing problems within their marriage.
A source tells Britain’s News of the World newspaper, "I’ve lost count of the number of times they scream at each other, normally when they have had a drink.
It’s become a weekly event.
"It usually starts late at night. All hell breaks loose with them shouting and screaming. The neighbours must be sick of it by now.” The source adds, "They love each other dearly, but that passion also makes their relationship very stormy. We all thought Sean’s recent arrest would be the final nail in the coffin for the marriage. But no matter how many times Georgina leaves, she always returns. All their friends hope things settle down."

Animal activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have called on an Arizona judge to ban rapper DMX from owning pets.
DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is in a heap of legal trouble following a string of arrests in the past 12 months, but it’s his animal cruelty charge, following a raid on his home in May (08), that has upset PETA officials.
The rapper pleaded not guilty to seven misdemeanour counts of cruelty after Arizona police took five pit bull terrier puppies into care. They reported the dogs "weren’t getting proper food or water and they were tied outside in 115-degree heat".
After calling for DMX to be "vigorously prosecuted" at the time of his cruelty arrest, PETA bosses have now written to the judge overseeing the case, Andrew Thomas, asking him to ban the rapper from ever owning another dog.
In the letter PETA spokeswoman Peter Wood writes, "On behalf of our thousands of members and supporters in Arizona, we respectfully urge your office to prosecute Simmons to the fullest extent of the law.
"As Simmons’ alleged conduct might well demonstrate, repeat crimes are the rule rather than the exception among animal abusers, so we implore your office to take every measure necessary to ensure that Simmons, if convicted, is barred from owning or harboring animals for as long as possible.
"We also ask that, if convicted, Simmons serve a meaningful period of incarceration and be required to undergo a thorough psychological evaluation followed by mandatory counselling at his own expense. Pregnant star ASHLEE SIMPSON has hit out at reports she is desperate to lose her baby weight, insisting her main concern is the health of her child.
U.S. tabloid The National Enquirer reported earlier this week (beg25Aug08) the singer had broken down into tears after learning she had gained more weight than is considered healthy.
The publication even alleged Simpson had bought several pairs of size zero jeans from Los Angeles shop Planet Blue to give herself an incentive to shed her post-pregnancy pounds.
But, posting on her official MySpace blog on Friday (29Aug08), the mum-to-be writes: "1. My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain. 2. Have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years. 3. Love my maternity jeans …
they have stretchy tops - it is awesome!" She adds: "Carrying a child is the most inspiring, emotional, amazing experience of my life. My weight and my pant size are the absolute last thing I am concerned about.
"I am only concerned with having a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

Mourning rapper DR. DRE has laid to rest his son a week after the 20-year-old’s untimely death.
More than 200 mourners turned out to pay their last respects to Andre Young, Jr. at his funeral, held at The Church of the Recessional in Glendale, California on Friday (29Aug08), reports TMZ.com.
The body of Young was found at his Woodland Hills, Los Angeles home last week (23Aug08).
An autopsy on Monday (25Aug08) failed to establish a cause of death and medical examiners are awaiting the results of a toxicology report.

THE SOPRANOS star JAMES GANDOLFINI has married his partner DEBORAH LIN in an intimate ceremony.
The couple exchanged vows in front of family and friends at Central Union Church in Lin’s hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii on Saturday (30Aug08).
Gandolfini’s best man was his eight-year-old son Michael from his first marriage to Marcy Wudarsk, which ended in 2002.

TV chef GORDON RAMSAY has criticised British QUEEN ELIZABETH II’s daily menu, branding it "prehistoric".
The acid-tongued cook tasted the food at Buckingham Palace in London after picking up his OBE (Order of the British Empire) there in 2006 - and he was unimpressed by the royal culinary efforts.
He tells U.S talk show host Jay Leno, "You never actually get to know who is cooking for the Queen - but I wouldn’t employ him because the food was s**t.
"Unfortunately, you have to go through the ceremony with the canapes which are just absolutely, shockingly s**t.
"They look prehistoric, like 300 years old."

CARMEN ELECTRA is suing a company for allegedly exploiting her celebrity status.
The documents - filed at Los Angeles Superior Court under her real name Tara Patrick - accuse Payment Data Systems of breaching a contract with the star after hiring her for a merchandising deal.
The lawsuit claims the company "schemed to wrongfully exploit the Plaintiff’s celebrity (status) and the value of her stage name and image for their own benefit and at the Plaintiff’s expense." Electra is suing for damages.

Movie director GUY RITCHIE entertains himself while his pop star wife MADONNA is on tour by taking his sons to the pub.
The couple owns a bar near their home in Mayfair, London, and Ritchie has been taking eight-year-old Rocco and adopted tot David Banda, two, along to keep him company while he drinks.
The Snatch director was photographed leaving the pub with Rocco at 11pm on Wednesday (27Aug08) night and the following evening, younger brother David and his nanny also joined Ritchie at The Punchbowl.
A source tells the Daily Star, "He is a sociable dad and just likes hanging out with his boys. Maybe he is also getting them in the swing of things so they can take over the business when they get older." However, there is no cause for Madonna to be concerned about her children while away on her Sticky & Sweet tour - Ritchie made sure his sons stayed well away from any alcohol and the boys remained under the supervision of their nanny.
A spokesperson for Ritchie was unavailable for comment.

SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has hit back at GORDON RAMSAY after the British TV chef criticised vegetarians.
Ex-Beatle McCartney has been a vegetarian for 30 years and admits he gets upset when people say "stupid" things about people who don’t eat meat.
And the singer was outraged when Hell’s Kitchen star Ramsay recently announced he would disown his daughter if she fell in love with a vegetarian.
Veteran rocker McCartney says, "I just read a quote from Gordon Ramsay… ‘If my daughter ever grew up and married a vegetarian, I’d never forgive her.’ “But even that I would forgive because it’s not my affair, it’s not up to me if he talks stupid or not." The foul-mouthed chef also recently threatened to punish his children if they gave up eating meat.
McCartney’s youngest daughter, four-year-old Beatrice, is a vegan, and the recently divorced star would like the whole world to stop eating meat. He says, "I’d be happier if everyone was vegetarian. The planet would be better off for it." The music legend gave up meat after he met his first wife, Linda, in 1967.
Linda died of breast cancel in 1998, and the star is preparing to relaunch her range of vegetarian food.

LATEST: PETE DOHERTY’s plans to stage a BABYSHAMBLES gig at his home have angered his landlord - who is determined to stop the concert going ahead.
Doherty’s notorious band was booked to play at Moonfest in Wiltshire, England later this month (Aug08) - but local police stepped in and put a stop to the planned appearance, amid fears thousands of youngsters will turn up and cause mayhem.
And the rocker vowed that the show would go on, offering to stage it at his home in nearby Marlborough instead.
But now the Earl of Cardigan - who owns Doherty’s country mansion - has stepped into the row, insisting he will not allow the band to play on his property.
In an email to local police, Lord Cardigan says, "Please advise your colleagues that ‘Pete’s house’ is actually Sturmy House. That house is the property of the trustees of Savernake Estate and any such thing would certainly constitute a breach of his lease of our property. So, should Doherty’s manager ever plan to carry out his threat, please be advised in advance that there are absolutely no circumstances in which the owners of that house where Doherty lives would ever sanction such a thing."
