MAX B BLASTS ‘JEALOUS’ TROUBLEMAKERS
LATEST: Former DIPSET rapper MAX B has slammed the troublemakers who opened fire at his recent New York concert, blaming jealousy for their actions.
The star - real name Charly Wingate - was performing at music venue SOB on Tuesday night (22Jul08) when a group of men entered and fired a gunshot into the VIP area.
No serious injuries were reported and police have yet to name any suspects.
And Max B is furious at suggestions he knows who the assailants are.
He tells AllHipHop.com, "I had no control over it. I didn’t want any trouble.
I never want any, but people despise me.
"I didn’t know the wannabe thugs who let off a round. They are jealous and envious, and they’re gonna do whatever they can to stop my movement."
