MOFFAT DENIES SPIELBERG SNUB
LATEST: Screenwriter STEVEN MOFFAT has denied he rejected an offer to work with legendary director STEVEN SPIELBERG for a stint on British TV show DR WHO.
It has been reported Moffat turned down a $2 million (£1 million) deal to work with the filmmaker on the upcoming Tintin film, for work on the cult sci-fi show.
But Moffat insists the media reports were misleading.
He explains, "The (writers’) strike just meant that I was unable to finish my work on the Tintin films given my new commitments." He also claims "the figures quoted" in the report about his salary "are also entirely speculative and wildly inaccurate".
