SIR ELTON JOHN INSPIRES BEN & JERRY ICE CREAM
Legendary rocker SIR ELTON JOHN is to be immortalised in ice cream - cool treat kings Ben & Jerry have created a new flavour in his honour.
The Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road flavour is inspired by the Candle in the Wind hitmaker’s first ever concert in Vermont - the home of Ben & Jerry - later this month (21Jul08).
The flavour is described as "an outrageous symphony of decadent chocolate ice cream, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks." But fans with a sweet tooth will have to hurry; the flavour is a limited edition only and will only be sold in the state from 18-25 July (08).
Sir Elton John joins Phish, Jerry Garcia and Dave Matthews who have all had Ben & Jerry flavours named after them.
