RICHIE’S BOOK PROMPTS TV ROLE
NICOLE RICHIE is returning to the small screen - in a TV adaptation of her novel THE TRUTH ABOUT DIAMONDS.
The socialite published her first tome in 2005, which follows its main character’s struggles through life.
Richie has not confirmed whether she will star in the show as its lead character Chloe Parker - the adopted daughter of a music superstar who struggles with sobriety and friendships with other Hollywood starlets.
She tells E!. "I would definitely produce and definitely be in the show. I don’t know if I need to be the star of this show. I’ve got a lot going on right now." Richie gave birth to her first child, daughter Harlow, in January (08) with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden.
