GUNS N’ ROSES RELEASING NEW TRACK ON VIDEO GAME?
Rockers GUNS N’ ROSES are reportedly planning to release the first single from their long-awaited album CHINESE DEMOCRACY through a video game.
The Mr Brownstone hitmakers have been working on the infamous LP for over a decade.
And the group is now set to collaborate with MTV and debut track Shackler’s Revenge on the network’s game Rock Band 2, reports The New York Times.
MTV bosses are expected to make an announcement on Monday (14Jul08).
The song’s inclusion has sparked rumours the next Guns N’ Roses album will finally be released in the autumn (08), following years of delays.
Frontman Axl Rose has previously claimed the album is complete, though a release date has yet to be officially announced.
The collaboration will set Guns N’ Roses in a league with fellow rockers Metallica and Aerosmith, who have joined forces with similar music-inspired video game Guitar Hero in a bid to increase sales.
