Sources claim Ronson bought the actress/singer a $22,000 (£11,000) Cartier diamond ring on Monday (07Jul08).
The insider says, "Sam took Lindsay shopping to celebrate her 22nd birthday… It’s not an engagement ring, simply a token of her commitment." Lohan and Ronson are long-time friends, but romance reports hit the headlines in May (08) when the ladies were spotted kissing and cuddling at a Cannes Film Festival party in France.
