STARR UNFAZED BY CHILDHOOD HOUSE DEMOLITION

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:27 pm

LATEST: Former BEATLE RINGO STARR is unfazed by the proposed demolition of his childhood home in Liverpool, England.
The rocker’s former house in the city’s Madryn Street is all set to be knocked down after officials at English Heritage decided against listing the building as a national treasure.
English Heritage executives argue the home has no real links to the Beatles, because Starr moved out of the property when he was a child.
But Starr insists he really isn’t bothered about the campaign to save the property.
He tells U.S. talk show host Larry King, "I don’t mind. They had a big campaign to save my house, the house I was born and lived in my first five years, and put it somewhere else. I never thought, you know, why would you put it somewhere else? This is where I was. They can do what they like. I am not going to stay awake. They want to save it, they don’t want to save it; it’s up to them."
