BONO & McCONAUGHEY BID FAREWELL TO GATES IN FUNNY VIDEO

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:30 am

BONO and MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY have joined forces to bid Microsoft boss BILL GATES a fond farewell as he plans for early retirement - by starring in a hilarious new video.
The two stars appear alongside U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama in the short, which has been posted on Microsoft’s website, ahead of the boffin billionaire’s company departure on Friday (27Jun08).
In the video, Gates muses what he’ll do with his life post Microsoft and calls Obama about a possible Vice President role before playing U2’s Bono a new guitar riff he has learned.
The Irish rocker says, "We’ve talked about this before, we’re full up in the band, Bill." Then, Gates asks, "Am I ready to take my shirt off?" while working out in a gym with McConaughey.
