CLOONEY & PITT TEAM UP AGAIN TO HELP CYCLONE VICTIMS
Hollywood stars GEORGE CLOONEY and BRAD PITT have launched a major advertising campaign in a bid to help victims of Tropical Cyclone Nargis in Southeast Asia.
The pair has already donated $500,000 (£250,000) to U.S. pressure group Not On Our Watch to fund the ongoing aid efforts in Myanmar, Burma after last month’s (May08) disaster, which left thousands dead and more than a million homeless.
And now Clooney and Pitt have joined forces with leading Asian political figures to run a massive advertising campaign in an Indonesian newspaper urging neighbouring countries to allow foreign aid workers into the region.
