KELLY JURY DELIBERATING
LATEST: R&B star R. KELLY’s fate has been placed in the hands of a 12-member jury after closing arguments in his child pornography trial were presented in court in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday (12Jun08).
Kelly stands accused of making a sex video with a 13-year-old girl. He was charged over six years ago but the delayed case only came to trial last month (May08).
Both Kelly and the alleged victim insist they’re not the couple in the footage.
During closing arguments, prosecutors replayed the sex tape, which features footage of full sex and urination, before the jury began its deliberations.
Kelly has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of child pornography.
