THE WHITE STRIPES star MEG WHITE thrilled fans onstage at a RACONTEURS show in Detroit, Michigan on Sunday (08Jun08) when she joined bandmate JACK WHITE for an encore.
The crowd at the Fillmore cheered as Meg suddenly appeared behind the drumkit as Jack White returned to the stage for the group’s encore, but there was no White Stripes treat in store.
After being introduced, Meg simply waved at the hometown crowd and walked off the stage, leaving the rest of the Raconteurs to join Jack White to close out the show.
The odd reunion marked the first time the Whites have been onstage together since Meg’s "acute anxiety" forced the band to cancel dates last September (07).
