WARREN G DRUG CHARGES DROPPED
LATEST: Drug charges against rapper WARREN G have been dropped by the Los Angeles District Attorney, because of "insufficient evidence".
The Regulate hitmaker - real name Warren Griffin III - and his friend Ryan Butler were pulled over by cops in Hollywood in the early hours of Sunday (09Jun08) after they ran a red light. Police found a large stash of the drug and arrested both men for possession and intent to sell.
But charges have been dropped because the car wasn’t registered to either man.
Griffin’s representative insists the drugs did not belong to the rapper.
