HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS END DISPUTE WITH RECORD LABEL

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:51 am

Pop punks HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS have ended their two-year breach of contract battle with record label Victory and agreed to release a third album through the company.
Victory bosses and the band have reached an agreement ending litigation, which started in 2006 when Hawthorne Heights bandmates sued record label boss Tony Brummell, claiming his "tactics" and "scheming" severely damaged the band’s reputation and its relationship with fans.
Brummel and his partners fought back, stating bosses at EMI had sparked the dispute after attempting to "poach" the band from Victory, even though the group still had two more records to deliver under its contract.
Details of the new agreement have not been disclosed, but the band and Victory bosses have confirmed the label will release the band’s third studio album, Fragile Future, in August (08).
