GOOD CHARLOTTE BABY INSPIRES MADDEN FAMILY REUNION
GOOD CHARLOTTE rocker JOEL MADDEN’s baby girl has helped heal a rift between himself, twin brother BENJI and their estranged father.
The Madden brothers, Joel’s daughter Harlow and her mum Nicole Richie recently drove to Roger Combs’ home in Maryland after a Good Charlotte show in New Jersey.
The secret family get together, which took place last month (May08) was "a wonderful moment" for Combs.
He tells In Touch magazine, "Harlow is such a beautiful girl. I felt very proud." A recovering alcoholic, Roger severed his relationship with his children when he walked out on them more than 10 years ago. But Harlow has helped the family put the bad times behind them.
Combs tells the publication he has started getting text messages from his 29-year-old twin sons.
He adds, "My kids were mad at me, and I don’t blame them. We are good today, and that’s all that matters."
