MORISSETTE: ‘I’M DATING’
ALANIS MORISSETTE has a secret boyfriend who’s helping her get over her split from RYAN REYNOLDS and his engagement to SCARLETT JOHANSSON.
The singer was left heartbroken when she split from Reynolds in 2006, and he began dating Johansson just months later. Following the announcement last month (May08) of her ex’s engagement; Morissette insists she is happy for the couple, claiming "On a certain spiritual level, I feel like everyone’s where they need to be." And she now confesses she didn’t completely quit men. Morissette admits, "I’m actually dating somebody. My moratorium was on commitment, not dating. I was a full-blown love addict and a co-dependent for a long time. So I took a break, and it’s been a committed passive recover for me. But there have been huge payoffs already."
