MURPHY AXED FROM DISNEY GIG

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:54 pm

BRITTANY MURPHY has been dropped by Disney movie studio executives from the forthcoming TINKER BELL film, according to online reports.
Murphy, 30, was hired in 2006 to provide the voice of Tinker Bell in an upcoming animated film about the beloved Peter Pan fairy, but has since allegedly been replaced by 19-year-old Mae Whitman.
Murphy’s acting career has stalled in recent years, with the Clueless star receiving more press attention for her personal life - including her 2007 secret wedding to Simon Monjack - than for her film roles.
No explanation was given by Disney for Murphy’s departure.
