Off the wall
A Swedish woman who married the Berlin Wall is now having a relationship with a fence. Eija-Riitta Berliner-Mauer - whose surname reads ‘Berlin Wall’ in German - wed the famous partition in 1979. Cracks unfortunately appeared in the relationship in 1989, when the wall was knocked down following Germany’s reunification.
Since then Riitta, 54, has been having a relationship with a length of garden fence. Riitta suffers from an illness called Objectum-Sexual which causes her to think of inanimate objects as humans with a gender and personality. She still refers to the Berlin Wall as “my darling husband” Riitta said: “I have never wanted to be with a person. The Great Wall of China is attractive, but he is too thin, the Berlin Wall is sexier.”
