LEDGER’S LAST FILM A BIG BUSINESS HIT AT CANNES
The film HEATH LEDGER was making when he died in January (08) has landed a big business boost at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has become the stand-out success story of the 2008 festival, and, as director Terry Gilliam returns to London to start post-production on the modern-day fantasy adventure, the film has wrapped up a series of major distribution deals.
The Cannes success is a welcome boost for the cast and crew, who had to deal with the death of their star just a month after filming got underway.
