MADONNA GETS SUPPORT FROM BANDA’S FATHER
LATEST: MADONNA and her husband GUY RITCHIE’s adoption of DAVID BANDA has been given the backing of the boy’s biological father.
The pair have been fighting to finalise their adoption of the two-year-old since bringing him back to Britain from a Malawian orphanage in 2006. They are set to appear in court in the country on Thursday (15May08) - for what they are hoping will be the final ruling on the long-running case.
And they will have no opposition from Banda’s father Yohane, who says, "I have no problem with the government’s recommendation to allow Madonna to get the child."
