A tornado in the US managed to find a cheque dating from 1971.
Gene Floyd went to check on his camper at his hunting camp near Evening Shade in Arkansas, in the wake of the tornadoes, everything initially looked normal. However, he then he saw something lying on the ground and when he turned it over it was cheque, folded in half.
Floyd said he was surprised when he saw it drawn on Sepember 1st 1971 from a bank account in Heber Springs - about 50 miles away. The check, for $1.50, was made payable to A.E. Williamson by Mrs. Bruce Murphree.
