MADONNA HITS SPORTS MECCAS ON STICKY & SWEET TOUR
MADONNA will kick off her Sticky & Sweet world tour in Wales on 23 August (08), before hitting some of the world’s most spectacular sporting arenas.
Just days after her Hard Candy album topped charts in 27 countries, including the U.S., the U.K., France, Japan and Australia, the pop superstar has announced dates for her gruelling late summer tour.
Shows will kick off at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and stop-offs will include Wembley Stadium in London, Los Angeles’ Dodgers Stadium, Madison Square Garden in New York and Olympic Stadiums in Berlin, Germany and Rome, Italy.
The Sticky & Sweet tour will also hit South America later this year (08), but dates for these shows are yet to be finalised.
The whole tour will be directed by Madonna’s long time creative collaborator and choreographer Jamie King.
