BRITNEY SPEARS has left her trainer stunned by her work-out schedule, which has helped her shed 15 pounds (6.8 kilograms) in four weeks.
Marc Corliss insists the pop superstar is among his best ever clients because she does everything he tells her to do and works out on her own.
The pop star has become a regular at Hollywood’s Bally’s gym, where she often works out with her father Jamie, and Corliss is impressed by her work ethic.
He tells America’s Life & Style magazine, "She’s hell-bent on getting a rocking midsection again.
"She’s been training hard for the past four weeks, doing about 500 or so abdominal exercises every day. And she’s seeing a major difference already." Corliss reveals Spears is also doing an hour of interval training, like sprinting mixed with weight training, four days a week.
He adds, "She’s a real go-getter, super upbeat and fun to be around. She’s motivated and positive; she’s definitely on the right track.
"I’m training her the way I would train an athlete. With her dance background, she’s already in better shape than most people." The personal trainer also reveals that Spears likes to workout to her favourite radio shows on pop and hip-hop station 107.2, which often plays her hits.

MADONNA has claimed her seventh U.S. number one album by taking HARD CANDY to the top of the Billboard 200 in its first week on release.
The pop superstar now only has Barbra Streisand to beat to become the chart’s top number one lady - Streisand has eight chart-topping albums to her name.
Hard Candy sold 280,000 copies to give Madonna her latest number one and topple Mariah Carey’s E=MC2, which spent two weeks at the top of the U.S.

ALICIA KEYS helped raise a small fortune for the Keep a Child Alive charity during her concert in Los Angeles on Monday night (05Apr08) - by asking fans to text the organisation.
Concertgoers like Britney Spears and Nick Lachey were urged to take out their cellphones and text the word ‘Alive’ to the number 90999.

Stage and soap star BEVERLEE McKINSEY has died due to complications after a kidney transplant. She was 72.
The actress made her mark on Broadway and in London’s West End in the 1960s, playing roles in Barefoot In The Park and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? respectively.
But she’s perhaps best known for playing scheming villain Iris Carrington in U.S. soap Another World.
McKinsey, who was married three times, also played Alex Spaulding in another hit soap, Guiding Light from 1984 to 1992, when she suddenly quit the show, citing long hours and the need to live a normal life.

TOM CRUISE made an impromptu appearance on U.S. TV talk show THE VIEW on Wednesday (7May08) - to pay a video tribute to veteran host BARBARA WALTERS.
Walters, 78, is currently celebrating 50 years as a TV personality with a new revealing autobiography.
In 1976 she famously became the first woman to co-anchor the evening news in America.
Wednesday’s The View cut to a clip taped by Cruise. As an emotional Walters looked on, he said, "First I want to congratulate you for 50 years as a leading force for women. Not only in the newsroom, but the world at large.
"Do you realise, that on October 4th 1976 when you became the first woman to anchor the evening news, that that moment would forever empower other women to reach their goals."

CYNTHIA NIXON’s SEX & THE CITY co-star KRISTIN DAVIS knew all about the actress’ secret breast cancer battle - because the two friends were together when the diagnosis was revealed.
Davis kept Nixon’s secret from everyone, including co-stars Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, allowing her pal to fight the disease in private, as she planned.
Now cancer-free, Nixon revealed all about her health crisis recently, insisting only a few close friends knew about the diagnosis.
And now she admits Davis was among them - because the actress was at her home when she first learned she had cancer.
Nixon says, "I told Kristin because she happened to be at my house.
"She stood up in her chair. I couldn’t get her down until I told her everything I was doing and assured her everything was going to be OK." Nixon is currently celebrating a year of being cancer free after a lumpectomy and radiation treatment in 2006.

Gay actress LILY TOMLIN regrets not ‘coming out’ 30 years ago, because she missed the chance to become the first openly-lesbian star.
Tomlin was offered the chance to come out of the closet in a Time magazine article in 1975, but she refused, and kept her sexuality a secret until after comedienne Ellen DeGeneres exposed her lesbian status in 1997.
The 68-year-old actress says, "In some ways I regret that I didn’t do it." But she explains the real reason behind her decision not to give Time magazine the gay scoop in the mid-1970s: "(I was) insulted that they thought I would do it just to get the cover."

Movie funnyman MIKE EPPS has been accused of beating up a man who attempted to serve the star with paternity court papers.
The Friday After Next star allegedly attacked the unnamed victim after he was served with documents following his stand-up comedy spot at Kentucky’s Louisville Gardens.
A report filed to the Louisville Police Department, suggests Epps and others beat up the server backstage.
The alleged victim claims he suffered an abrasion to the right side of his head and his left eye was swollen shut.
According to TMZ.com, Epps is the prime suspect.

UGLY BETTY star VANESSA WILLIAMS is set for a Mother’s Day weekend (10-11May08) she won’t forget by picking up her bachelor of fine arts degree 25 years after she attended Syracuse University.

LATEST: CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION star GARY DOURDAN has been charged with three felonies for possession of a controlled substance following his post-Coachella Festival arrest in California.
The actor was apprehended by police in Palm Springs, California after he was found asleep in his incorrectly parked car early on 28 April (08).
Cops searched his vehicle, before arresting him on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, Ecstasy and prescription drugs.
Dourdan posted $5,000 (GBP2,500) bail and was released following the incident. He will be arraigned on 28 May (08).

Pop pair ASHLEE SIMPSON and PETE WENTZ are rushing up the aisle and will wed next week (beg12May08) in California, according to Internet reports.

Troubled R&B star R. KELLY’s child pornography trial is to start in Chicago, Illinois on Friday (09May08) after a series of delays and hold-ups.
Jury selection will begin six years after Kelly was initially charged with having sex with a minor.
The charges were prompted by a videotape allegedly showing the singer/songwriter having sex with a young teenager.
The trial looks set to be a messy one with both Kelly and his now-23-year-old alleged sexual partner both insisting it isn’t them on the videotape.
Kelly, 41, faces up to 15 years in prison if he’s convicted.
But his spokesman Allan Mayer insists Kelly is relieved the trial is about to start at last: "Every waking moment, he’s always had this hanging over his head. He’s confident that when all the evidence comes out he’ll be shown not to be guilty of any crime."

American actor WILL SMITH credits CHARLIZE THERON with making him a better comic actor.

Rapper LIL’ WAYNE has confirmed he won’t be touring with 50 CENT on his current tour his G-UNIT band - insisting he hopes to take to the stage with R&B singer KEYSHIA COLE.
Lil’ Wayne - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. - was rumoured to be in talks with the In Da Club hitmaker about a possible support slot on their world tour.
But Carter insists it isn’t going to happen and he is now looking to tour with Cole instead.
He tells MTV.com, "That one (touring with G-Unit), I don’t think is gonna work no more. It was something that ain’t went right. I think I might go out with Keyshia Cole.
"You’re bringing two different types of people in there. You got people coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people who wanna throw their hands up with me. It’s like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it’s hip-hop, it’s R&B. … I think you gonna get that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that." And Cole has also expressed interest in touring with Carter, saying, "I’mma (sic) kidnap him and take him on tour with me.
"I think it’s a little harder to get him on the stage than it is to get me.
We gotta make sure we get together on that."

Hollywood actor ASHTON KUTCHER is contemplating a career in the porn industry after he was inspired by JENNA JAMESON.
The 30-year-old star plays the lead role in new movie Spread and he insists the sex comedy was so close to an adult film, he could actually take up the profession.
And Kutcher is convinced that if world-famous porn star Jameson can make a multi-million dollar empire out of the erotic movie industry, then it must be a career worth considering.
He tells MTV.com, " I (made) a sort of, like, a porno-pseudo-comedy movie. So maybe I’ll do some more porno.
"It worked for Jenna Jameson. I was actually in London last week, and they knew who Ron Jeremy was. He’s a famous porn star in London as well.
"I didn’t realize that porn stars were famous in other countries. I thought London had their own. Apparently they don’t. I think we have, as a country, kind of a corner on that market, so I was thinking about venturing that way a little further."
