DUFF TO HEAD SEARCH FOR NEW BROADWAY STAR
Actress HAYLIE DUFF will host a new talent show search for the next star of Broadway’s LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL.
Duff, the sister of teen favourite Hilary Duff, has signed to front the forthcoming MTV reality TV show Legally Blonde the Musical: The Search for Elle Woods.
The show premieres on the network in June (08) and the winner will get to see their name in lights as the star of the New York production, replacing Tony-winning actress Laura Bell Bundy.
Duff, who also acts as executive producer, says, "I don’t do any of the eliminating or judging. I’m always auditioning for things so I see them as my peers. They’re wonderful, talented girls and they’re already professionals."
