DIXIE CUPS ASK BLIND ARRANGER TO CONDUCT HIT ONSTAGE
Arranger WARDELL QUEZERGUE stunned the crowd at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Saturday (03May08) when he conducted the DIXIE CUPS’ band through CHAPEL OF LOVE - even though he has lost his sight.
Quezergue, who arranged the hit for the local group held on to a chair for balance and waved his baton around as the crowd at the annual music festival clapped along.
