ASSAULT CHARGES AGAINST STEWART’S SON DISMISSED
ROD STEWART’s son SEAN has escaped an assault rap in Los Angeles after a County Superior Court judge dismissed four felony charges against him.
Stewart, 27, was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, among other things, after he allegedly attacked Tobalus and Ericka Stein as they left a Hollywood party last year (07).
Stewart was accused of throwing bricks and other items at the couple’s car after he was refused entry to the bash.
Ericka Stein claimed she needed medical treatment for "massive lacerations" she was left with after the attack.
In court on Friday, the prosecutor in the case said, "The People announce they are unable to proceed on this matter."
