ARTERTON’S LEARNS HOW TO MILK IT
BOND girl GEMMA ARTERTON was forced to learn how to milk a cow for her latest role in a BBC TV series.
The 22-year-old - who appears in forthcoming 007 picture Quantum of Solace plays the title role in an adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s famous novel Tess of the D’Ubervilles.
And to play the legendary milkmaid, the star had to go for lessons at a farm in Gloustershire, England, to learn milking techniques on goats.
Farmer Judy King tells British newspaper The Sun, "She was a very confident young lady, very down to earth. She just got on with it all. She brought a bit of glamour to the farm, but she’d have a future with livestock if she wasn’t in the movies."
