British pop star LEONA LEWIS is reportedly in talks to launch a vegan fashion line - to promote the ethical treatment of animals.
The singer always wears non-leather shoes and maintains a vegetarian lifestyle.
But now Lewis is rumoured to be launching her own clothing range full of ethically sourced products to give fellow vegans more of a choice when stocking their wardrobes.
A source tells British magazine Hello, "She’s always adored animals since she was a little girl and has been a vegetarian since the age of 12.
"The reason she doesn’t wear diamonds is because she doesn’t know how they have been sourced.

Veteran British actor TERENCE STAMP has divorced his wife of six years on the grounds of his unreasonable behaviour. The Star Wars star, 69, was granted a ‘quickie divorce’ from Elizabeth O’Rourke, 33.
Neither Stamp nor O’Rourke was present at the High Court Family Division in London to hear District Judge Redgrave grant a decree nisi on Tuesday (29Apr08). The couple married on New Year’s Eve 2002 after meeting in the mid-1990s in Australia.

British comedy THREE AND OUT has flopped at the box office, failing to reach the top ten in its first week of release.
The movie follows the story of a train driver - played by Mackenzie Crook who discovers he will be fired if he has three fatal accidents within a one-month period.
But the film - directed by Jonathan Gershfield - has attracted controversy in the U.K, with drivers of London’s Underground trains picketing the premiere, claiming it trivialises suicide.
The movie has taken just ($378 908) GBP189,454 to open at number 12.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - starring Kristen Bell and Russell Brand - topped the chart, taking $3.5 million (GBP1.75 million) in three days.
Jessica Alba’s The Eye is in second place with takings of $1.4 million (GBP704,655), while Kevin Spacey’s gambling drama 21 dropped from the top spot to number three.
Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey’s treasure-hunting adventure comedy Fool’s Gold was in fourth place, down from number two taking ($952,532) GBP476,266.
In Bruges, a black comedy about two hitmen starring Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes, was at five with takings of ($816,096) GBP408,048.

OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER has attacked the owner of his favourite soccer team, after discovering his plans to fire manager SVEN-GORAN ERIKSSON.
Manchester City boss, former Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, is reportedly set to dismiss Swede Eriksson when the English season ends this month (Apr08), because he is disappointed with the team’s performance.
The news has angered fans, who have hailed Eriksson’s achievements with the team, most notably Gallagher - who has supported the team since childhood.
He was so incensed on Tuesday (29Apr08) he called BBC radio network 5Live to complain, saying, "I think it’s a bit of a joke to be honest. It’s ludicrous.
To get rid of him after the best season we’ve had as long as I can remember is just ridiculous.
"Eriksson has given the City fans a lot of pride. He’s a graceful dignified man.
"I’d be amazed and equally appalled if I met a City fan who thought getting rid of Eriksson was a good thing. We all love him up there.
"Shinawatra’s living in cloud cuckoo land.
"(If I saw Sven today) I’d give him a big kiss and I’d say ‘you know what, you take him to the cleaners’."

Bandmates DAMON ALBARN has given hope to fans of supergroup THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE QUEEN, a week after bandmate PAUL SIMONON revealed they had split.
Former The Clash star Simonon announced the band would perform at last weekends (27Apr08) Love Music Hate Racism concert in London, and revealed they had actually split last year (07).
He said, "Effectively The Good, The Bad & The Queen finished last year, I mean permanently finished, in September." Blur and Gorillaz frontman Albarn confirms there are no plans to perform or record again - but he insists they will be back.
He says, " I don’t really like to say this is this, and that is that. I just think no, it’s not the end of these great musicians collaborating together."

FALL OUT BOY rocker PETE WENTZ finds it hard to relax on vacation - because he can’t switch off from work.
The bassist is constantly in demand due to his hectic work commitments and often emails contacts through his beloved Blackberry cell phone while sunning himself on the beach.
He says, "Having no emails to chase or no phone calls to make doesn’t make me crazy. But, if I’m on vacation on the beach, then I find it hard to put down my Blackberry.
"I need someone to physically take it from me. Even when that happens, my mind will be thinking about things."

A 40-year-old sex tape featuring guitar great JIMI HENDRIX has been unearthed by a rock memorabilia collector.
The unnamed collector has passed the saucy footage, which features a headbanded Hendrix frolicking with two brunettes, to the bosses of porn video giant Vivid Entertainment, who are set to release the film on DVD.
Vivid officials went to infamous rock groupie Cynthia Plaster Caster, who once set Jimi’s penis in a plaster mold, to make sure that the guy in the sex film was the late rock icon.
She says, "No doubt about it..
. That’s Jimi Hendrix’s d**k, and I should know." The groupie actually compares her Hendrix mold to the penis in the sex tape as part of the film.
Cynthia and another famous groupie, Pamela Des Barres provide commentary on the new DVD, Jimi Hendrix: The Sex Tape.
Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch is convinced the new film will be a hit: "This new movie shows that Jimi Hendrix could have been as great a porn star as he was a rock star

LATEST: Rapper VANILLA ICE will not face charges for domestic battery after his case was dropped by prosecutors, according to reports.
The star - real name Robert Van Winkle - had been arrested and told to keep away from his wife, Laura, after his arrest earlier this month (Apr08).
It is believed Laura called police to report her husband was hitting and kicking her at their Palm Beach County, Florida home on 10 April (08). But the charges were dropped on Tuesday (29Apr08), after Laura retracted her statement and there were no independent witnesses to the alleged assault.
The restraining order was also lifted, reports TMZ.com.
Van Winkle was arrested in 2004 over similar domestic battery charges.

Rapper THE GAME has dedicated a song on his new album to slain SEAN BELL, in a bid to highlight ‘police corruption’.
The hip-hop star wrote new track 911 Is A Joke following the controversial verdict surrounding the Bell case.
Bell was gunned down in New York in 2006. Last week (25Apr08), three New York detectives stood trial for manslaughter and reckless endangerment, but were found not guilty.
And The Game - Jayceon Terrell Taylor - felt the Bell family never received justice.
He tells AllHipHop.com, "I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder.
"I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.
"This could have easily been me, my brother, my family. So this song is for Sean Bell from my heart. My deepest condolences goes out to his family and wife Nicole Bell."

UMA THURMAN cried and shook with terror after JACK JORDAN tried to force his way into her movie set trailer, the actress’ wardrobe assistant testified on the first day of the alleged stalker’s trial on Monday (28Apr08).
Joseph La Corte told the jury at New York’s Manhattan Supreme Court how two minders had to block Jordan, and how Thurman was left hysterical by the episode in November 2005.
He said, "Her hands were shaking, she was soaked (from tears). She couldn’t sit still." Thurman’s former personal assistant Lisa Grondin also revealed how the trauma caused her to take up smoking again.
Jordan is also accused of sending letters and notes to Thurman while she shot My Super Ex-Girlfriend in the city; in one, threatening to kill himself is she didn’t date him. Another read, "My hands should be on your body at all times." After pleading not guilty to misdemeanour stalking, aggravated harassment and felony coercion, Jordan’s lawyer contended that his letters were not illegal, telling the court, "(Jordan) does not think the way you and I think. He doesn’t know the boundaries you and I know. He thinks it’s romantic." Thurman is scheduled to testify on Tuesday (Apr08). The case continues.

Singer AMY WINEHOUSE has locked the man she is accused of having an affair with out of her London home.
The Back To Black star had allegedly broken off her 11-month marriage to jailed Blake Fielder-Civil last week (21Apr08) after falling for her manager’s assistant, 24-year-old Alex Haynes.
However, on Monday (28Apr08) Winehouse angrily denied the rumours outside her Camden abode, insisting she’s not cheating on Fielder-Civil - who faces charges of perverting the course of justice - and blasted the media for spreading "lies".
And now the troubled star has barred Haynes from her home by locking the front door from the inside - something he only figured out as he was trying to enter.
A source tells WENN, "Alex turned up on foot, got his keys out and tried to open the door. He was obviously confused. He tried knocking and ringing her but to no avail. But she was definitely at home.
"He tried to shrug it off as if everything was normal, but you could tell he wasn’t happy. Eventually he just walked off."

Cartoon classic THE SIMPSONS has been named the best comedy TV show of all time in a new poll.
Editors at AOL Television named the long-running animation top of a list of 50 of the greatest small screen funnies, claiming, "The townsfolk of Springfield..
. have become engrained into modern pop culture." Seinfeld was named second, followed by All in the Family, The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Cheers.
None of the top ten shows are still running - and only six of the top 50 are currently on the air; The Office (14), South Park (16), Curb Your Enthusiasm (18), 30 Rock (20), Scrubs (40) and Family Guy (47).

GWYNETH PALTROW refuses to throw out any of her designer clothes - so her three-year-old daughter APPLE can wear them when she is older.
Paltrow, 35, has two children with rocker husband Chris Martin, Apple, and one-year-old son Moses.

Pregnant MINNIE DRIVER is terrified about the prospect of her waters breaking all over UMA THURMAN’s shoes.
The two actresses pair up in new movie Motherhood, and the Brit will be almost eight months pregnant when the film wraps this summer (08).

MEL GIBSON has signed up to play a police investigator in EDGE OF DARKNESS his first feature film role since his arrest for drink driving in 2006.
The Braveheart star’s last feature starring role was in 2002’s Signs, but he has kept a low profile since hitting the headlines for using anti-Semitic language during a DUI arrest near his home in Malibu, California.
In the thriller, based on a 1985 BBC miniseries, Gibson, 42, will play a cop who uncovers corruption in the legal system while investigating the death of his activist daughter, reports Daily Variety.
Filming on the independently financed project, to be directed by Casino Royale filmmaker Martin Campbell, begins in Boston, Massachusetts in August (08).
