METALLICA THRILL CAMPING FANS

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:47 pm

More than 400 fans of heavy rockers METALLICA spent three days camping out in a rain-soaked parking lot to make sure they got the chance to meet their heroes on Saturday (19Apr08).
The Enter Sandman rockers took part in America’s inaugural Record Store Day by staging a rare meet-and-greet at Rasputin Music and DVDs in Mountain View, California.
And fans were so determined to make sure they got up close and personal with their rock heroes, they started camping on Thursday (17Apr08).
Metallica didn’t disappoint - the group sat for a six-hour marathon of autograph-signing, chatting and photographs.
Founding members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich and Kirk Hammett started the day off, while bassist Robert Trujillo arrived later.
