HOWARD SHOWS OFF NEW JAZZ ALBUM AT LUNCHTIME SHOWCASE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:50 pm

HUSTLE & FLOW star TERRENCE HOWARD launched his music career in New York on Monday (21Apr08) with a lunchtime showcase of his debut album.
Wearing a smart grey three-piece suit, the Oscar nominee hosted a listening session for Terrence Howard - Me and the Band of Kings.
Howard drummed along with chopsticks as songs like It’s All Game and Love Makes You Beautiful played through speakers at the Sony Club to a room full of journalists.
Howard revealed that one unnamed song on the album started life as an emotionally raw letter to his ex-wife.
The actor admitted the jazz tune had a "sobering" effect on him.
The new album is slated for a September (08) release.
