SIMPSON’S PAL PLANS FRIENDLY BOOK

. SIMPSON’s ‘best friend’ TOM SCOTTO is writing a biography of the former American footballer, in the hope of changing the public’s perception of the controversial star.
Scotto, whose Las Vegas wedding Simpson had attended prior to his arrest for attempting to rob a memorabilia collector last year (07), claims Simpson is misunderstood and misinterpreted in the media.
In a statement, he offers to meet publishers to discuss his plans in more detail: "I will be happy to sit down with you to share my ideas and photos
. If needed, O.J
. will also join us." Simpson has been the inspiration for a number of literary offerings since he was acquitted of the 1994 murder of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, but found responsible for their deaths by a civil trial.
Most have offered a negative view of Simpson, including If I Did It: Confessions of a Murderer, in which Simpson himself reveals hypothetically how he would have committed the murders
