JENKINS MODELS SELF AFTER MONROE
British opera singer KATHERINE JENKINS loves her curves - and models herself after legendary screen vixen MARILYN MONROE.
The mezzo-soprano first became enamoured with the late icon after watching 1953’s Gentlemen Prefer Blondes when she was just 10 years old - and now Jenkins has a large collection of books and memorabilia about the original blonde bombshell.
She says, "Marilyn was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Who could have dreamt that I might be able to look like that? "I wouldn’t want to be stick-thin. Marilyn Monroe was supposedly a size 16, which is probably why I love her style - it suits me better."
